ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE AND HOST FAMILIES


 Science Museum Opportunity for Youth Exchange Students and their Host Families  


Youth exchange students and their host families may wish to make this a memorable week-end by also experiencing the many varied exhibits at the Science Museum of MN on Saturday, November 12th before the celebration dinner. This is a very special day at the Museum as it is also "Girls, Science and Technology" Day. From 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Fox 9 and prominent female scientists from around the state will feature hands on experiments, activities and demonstrations. We have received 50 tickets, so youth exchange students and their host families may request up to four tickets at no cost to attend. KEYNOTE SPEAKER

   

 Key Note Speaker -  Jamie Revord
Jamie manages the Annual Giving and Alumni Relations team.  A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), she has been with Rotary since 2002, and worked with the Ambassadorial Scholarship and Rotary World Peace Fellowship programs, as well as major gifts and endowment administration, before assuming her current role.  She earned her BA in English from the University of Notre Dame, and holds masters’ degrees in Curriculum and Instruction from Loyola University Chicago and in the Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Stirling in Scotland.   She was a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar sponsored by D-6440 for study in Scotland.
