ROTARY FOUNDATION
GRANTS MANAGEMENT SEMINARS
REQUIRED FOR 2020-2021 ROTARY FOUNDATION GRANTS
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the recommendation that groups of people do not meet, we have moved our Grants Management Seminars and Global Grants Workshops to an online format and have rescheduled many of the dates. The amended schedule is below. If your club has thought about sponsoring a District or Global Grant, the Grants Management Seminar (GMS) is a must attend! For your club to be qualified to sponsor a grant, one of the main contacts of the grant is required to attend a GMS. Even if your club doesn’t plan to sponsor a grant in 2020-21, I’d encourage you to have someone attend a GMS…you never know if a need arises, and it’s a great way to understand the process for the future. Here are your opportunities to attend an online Grants Management Seminar in the coming weeks: GRANTS MANAGEMENT SEMINARS Thursday, April 16th from 7:00-8:30 pm. CLICK HERE to register Tuesday, April 21st from 3:00-4:30 pm. CLICK HERE to register Saturday, April 25th from 9:00-10:30 am. CLICK HERE to register GLOBAL GRANTS WORKSHOPS Tuesday, April 28th from 7:00-8:30 pm. CLICK HERE to register Thursday, May 7th from 3:00-4:30 pm. CLICK HERE to register If your club is planning to sponsor a Global Grant (or are planning to contribute $2,500 or more to another Global Grant), you must have a representative attend BOTH a Grants Management Seminar and a Global Grants Workshop. A few additional points:
For more information on the Grants Management Seminars and Global Grants Workshops, and for some tips and tricks for novice Zoom users, please see the Grants Management Seminars page on our website HERE. Thank you for your willingness to adapt due to the world around us, and thanks for your interest in sponsoring Rotary Foundation grants in 2020-21!
