TAKING ACTION TO PREVENT HUMAN SEX TRAFFICKING: Learn what you can do to increase the safety of our children!  The Edina Rotary invites you to join them on September 19th, 11:30-1:30 p.m. at a weekly meeting that will start early as they present a workshop on Human Sex Trafficking Prevention. 
Panelist Include:
 
Carla Marroquin - Founder and Executive Director of Protect Me Project, Sits on the Global A.G. Committee to End Exploitation, Slavery, and Human Trafficking, and more!
 
Kenna Dick - Detective with Edina Police Department for 14 years, handling cases of juvenile related criminal acts, child abuse allegations, and sexual assaults, and more!
 
Heidi Nauman - Executive Director of Super Hero Kids Foundation, has worked with kids of all ages in schools, churches, and Girl Scouts for over 20 years, and more!
 
Clubs will sign up through their home club. They will not pay at the door, their club will be invoiced for their lunch. Registration for the workshop closes September 14, 2019. All registrations are final.
 
Registration starts at 11:30 and lunch is served at 12.  Ends at 1:30. Cost is $20.  They are asking that each club president let their club Administrator, Becci Michalski (becci@righthandmgmt.net or 952-215-7924) know how many members of each club will be attending.  Edina Rotary club will bill your clubs, so no one  needs to pay at the door.
