District 5960 Peace Project
Protecting the Environment
What is it? A turnkey project for our Rotary Clubs
Why do you call this a peace project?
We are Rotarians; we look for problems.
What is the Problem?
- At most 5% of end-of-life lithium-ion batteries are recycled.
- The domestic supply chain for raw battery materials is insecure.
- Increase of domestic remanufacturing need for lithium-ion batteries.
- Difficulty with mining minerals from the earth.
We are Rotarians; we implement solutions.
What is a Peaceful Solution?
