Jon Kaufman joined Rotary 8 years ago for a specific purpose... to disrupt and improve the way safe drinking water is provided to the poorest of the poor around the globe. Forming H2OpenDoors
as a project to be replicated by Rotary clubs, they've brought over 500 Rotarians and friends on expeditions for service and adventure.

To date, H2OpenDoors has installed 33 water purification plants in 11 countries, with 8 more planned for 2020 alone. These SunSpring-centered facilities provide 5000 gallons per day of safe drinking water, enough for 10,000 people to have 1/2 gallon of water every day for over 10 years.
