NOMINATE
OUR NEXT DGND
· Have been your Club’s president
· Are a member in good standing
· Have an interest in sharing your Rotary passion with fellow Rotarians
If you meet those three criteria, then you have a great foundation to be District Governor!
The role of District Governor is a very rewarding one. Yes, it does require a fair amount of time and energy, but the rewarding sense of satisfaction and enjoyment definitely outweighs the cost…especially with a great District Leadership Team to lend support along the way.
In the past few years, we (District Leadership) have worked hard to ensure that holding the office of District Governor would be Fair to All Concerned. The Past District Governors have held full time occupations, so it is possible to be an effective leader. Remember, that Family and job come first.
All nominations for District Governor must be received in the District Office no later than Friday, September 27th. The Nominating Committee will meet to interview interested applicants on Friday, October 11th at the District Office in Roseville. Candidates will be sent information about when and instructions.
If you have any questions, I’d encourage you to talk to any past/current/future Governor or reach out to me directly. Any of us would be glad to answer any questions about the role of District Governor!
